Q8Aviation has received an Award of Recognition for its outstanding contribution throughout its Strategic Partnership with IATA over 25 years. The award was presented by Hemant Mistry, IATA Director of Global Airport Infrastructure & Fuel, to Naser Ben Butain, General Manager Q8Aviation, at the Aviation Fuel Forum in New Orleans on 12 November.

The Joint Inspection Group (JIG) has presented a Lifetime Achievement award to Nic Mason, who leads Q8Aviation’s Technical Services team, in recognition of his contribution over the past 15 years, including his chairmanship of the JIG Operations Committee for the past five years.

Nabil Bourisli, President of Kuwait Petroleum International (KPI), the parent company of Q8Aviation, and Azzam Al-Mutawa, Vice President International Operations, recently visited Q8Aviation’s jet fuel operations at London Heathrow as part of an update on Q8Aviation’s business with General Manager Naser Ben Butain and the management team.

Q8Aviation has stepped up its charitable support as part of its celebrations to mark 35 years in business this year. Six teams of employees competed against each other to raise the most funds for their chosen charity and together raised an impressive £6,000 in two months.
