Celebrating 50 years of fuelling excellence at Heathrow
Leading refuelling company Aviation Fuel Services (AFS), in which Q8Aviation is a joint venture partner, is celebrating 50 years of operations at London Heathrow.
AFS is one of four into-plane refuelling companies at Heathrow, serving more than 70 airlines. On a typical day, it supplies around 7.5 million litres of Jet A-1 fuel to some 200 aircraft.
Members of Q8Aviation joined with AFS to mark the milestone and Fadel Al-Faraj, General Manager Q8Aviation, presented AFS General Manager Clive Eskriett with an engraved model of an Airbus A380.
Fadel Al-Faraj said: “We are very proud to be part of such a successful company. AFS has consistently delivered superb service and safety standards over the years and we look forward to continuing our partnership far into the future.”
Clive Eskriett added: “We share the same values as Q8Aviation in terms of safety, service excellence, innovation and continuous improvement, which gives great synergy between our companies and a solid foundation from which to achieve even greater success.”
