Double success for Q8Aviation at Verona

After launching a new jet fuel service at Verona on 1st July, Q8Aviation has already secured its first major contracts from Lufthansa, one of the airport’s largest operators, and re-seller Nautilus Aviation.

The substantial contract with Lufthansa is to supply two million gallons of fuel per annum, sourced from Q8Aviation’s dedicated import facilities at the Port of Koper in Slovenia.

Toby Simmons, Sales & Marketing Manager for Q8Aviation, says: “We are delighted to introduce a jet fuel service at Verona; this is another significant step in our plan to extend our portfolio of European airports and to maximise the use of our import facilities. We are also using Koper to supply fuel for our operations at Venice and Vienna airports. The benefit is that our import facilities at the port are backed by excellent onward transport connections, which enable us to provide our customers with a quick, efficient and secure fuel supply.”

Verona joins Q8Aviation’s rapidly expanding European network of more than 50 airports. In addition to the Port of Koper, Q8Aviation has dedicated import facilities at Le Havre, Rotterdam and Avonmouth in south-west England. With fuel supplied from Kuwait, Q8Aviation can justly claim a secure ‘wellhead to wingtip’ service.
