KPI President visits Q8Aviation’s Heathrow operations

Nabil Bourisli, President of Kuwait Petroleum International (KPI), the parent company of Q8Aviation, and Azzam Al-Mutawa, Vice President International Operations, recently visited Q8Aviation’s jet fuel operations at London Heathrow as part of an update on Q8Aviation’s business with General Manager Naser Ben Butain and the management team.

Q8Aviation has been a major jet fuel supplier at Heathrow for more than 30 years and has invested in joint ventures to strengthen its supply chain which stretches from Kuwait to the UK.

It is a joint venture partner in Heathrow Hydrant Operating Company, which runs the fuel storage and hydrant system, and into-plane operator Aviation Fuel Service. This year AFS secured a third Silver Award from RoSPA for its high safety standards and acquired state-of-the-art hydrant dispensers as part of its fleet refurbishment programme.

Azzam Al-Mutawa commented: “It is reassuring to note that we have strong partners at the airport who share our values of safety, service excellence and continuous improvement.”
