New business wins for Q8Aviation in Spain

Q8Aviation is expanding its operations into Spain and has won its first business at the country’s two largest airports. It has signed contracts with Aerolineas Argentinas at Madrid airport and Air Europa at Barcelona airport to supply a significant proportion of each airline’s fuel requirements.

Julian Amesbury, planning and business development manager at Q8Aviation, says: “These important developments mark the first steps in our strategy to make Spain a significant part of our portfolio. We are delighted to win these contracts and anticipate expanding our business in Spain very soon.”

Madrid Barajas and Barcelona El Prat are amongst the busiest airports in Europe, lying at fifth and ninth place respectively. Q8Aviation serves nine of Europe’s top ten airports, as well as a growing network of regional airports.

Q8Aviation’s rapid expansion in Europe in recent years is supported by its dedicated import facilities at the ports of Bristol, Le Havre, Rotterdam and Koper (Slovenia), which ensure an efficient and reliable fuel supply.
