Olan Ryan has been appointed as Technical Services Manager at Q8Aviation to strengthen our fast-growing technical team.

He will work as part of our technical team, offering specialist technical services to aviation fuel businesses worldwide.

John Buxton, Technical Services Director, says: “We are delighted to welcome Olan. His experience and skills will be of great value as we continue to expand this important sector of our business.”

Formerly based in Paris, Olan joins from Total where he was a member of the Total Africa logistics team and was responsible for aviation operational and technical support across Africa and the Middle East. Prior to this he had spent four years in the Air Total Inspection and Quality Control team as a JIG inspector.

Olan has long been actively involved with the JIG community. He has been a member of the JIG standards drafting working group and IT committee, and was formerly chairman of the JIG Inspection Tracking System (JITS) working group.
