NSRP Project showcased at IATA Fuel Forum
At the recent Fuel Forum in Hanoi, Q8Aviation, a strategic partner of IATA, played a leading role in offering technical guidance to the delegation of airlines, equipment suppliers, service providers and fuel suppliers.
Q8Aviation’s contribution was led by John Buxton, Q8Aviation Technical Director and Chairman of JIG, and Nic Mason (pictured right), Q8Aviation Technical Services Manager, Chairman of the JIG Operations Committee and Chairman of the EI Aviation Equipment Sub-Committee.
Q8Aviation was proud to showcase the Nghi Son refinery project (NSRP), a joint venture with PetroVietnam and other partners that is creating Vietnam’s largest refinery. Reinforcing the strong collaboration between the partners, Pham Van Chung of NSRP and Nic Mason gave a detailed update on the project. The presentation highlighted Q8Aviation’s important work in ensuring NSRP’s compliance with the required operating standards and fuel specifications.
The IATA forum was attended by Dinh Van Ngoc, Deputy General Director of NSRP; Hiroki Morihisa, Advisor Laboratory & QA; Kunimasa Ueda, Section Manager Laboratory and QA together with senior managers from Q8Aviation.
Nic Mason said: “The IATA Fuel Forum was an excellent event, providing a great opportunity for participants to learn about the latest developments in the aviation fuel industry. We were very pleased to have had such a high level of involvement and to highlight the part we are playing in the prestigious NSRP project.”
