Q8Aviation wins jet fuel contract with the Dutch National Police
Q8Aviation has won a five-year contract with the aviation branch of the Dutch National police to supply jet fuel for its fleet of helicopters based at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. Fuel for the helicopters, which are used for emergency response work and surveillance, is sourced from the AFS fuel storage terminal at Schiphol and delivered by trucking partner Schenk Tanktransport.
Caroline Pennington, sales and marketing director at Q8Aviation, says: “We are very pleased to win this contract with the Dutch police. This new partnership with Schenk opens up significant opportunities to extend our supply of jet fuel to other airports in the region.”
Q8Aviation has significantly expanded its General Aviation business in recent years. At airports where it has an established presence and serves major airlines, it is a natural step to extend this fuel service to smaller operators, such as private jets, helicopters and flying clubs.
