Q8Aviation has held a successful workshop in Zanzibar for our technical services clients based in the region. Over two days, the delegates heard from industry experts on a range of technical issues and benefitted from sharing experiences and best practice.

The workshop was opened by Q8Aviation’s technical director, John Buxton. Other presenters from Q8Aviation included Robert Finch, business management systems manager, who described the newly-released Q8Aviation Safety, Security, Health and Environment Management System (SSHEMS), and Olan Ryan, technical services manager, who covered a range of fuel handling issues. Guest speaker Ray Harris of Flightline Support, which provides a wide range of refuelling equipment, outlined technical issues relating to aircraft refuelling vehicles.

Olan Ryan commented: “Holding regular workshops for our technical services clients is invaluable as it gives us the opportunity to highlight recent developments in our industry. Our clients can then use this knowledge to update and improve their operating standards.”
